"ref" calls so far between each other? The MLB and NFL seem to do a pretty good job. The NBA is TERRIBLE. Now a days you have to destroy someone in the playoffs to win a game. Anything close and you lose. See the DET vs CLE game last night. No call for James going into the hole

Its like, if you're on the road you can forget about it. At home you get all the calls

this is terrible

NBA the playing field is a lot smaller and the fans much closer. It is probably easier for the fans to get into their heads. Also the action goes nonstop for much longer in basketball. In football and baseball the refs only have to pay attention for a few seconds then get a break. NBA refs have to pay attention much longer and have fewer breaks which can lead to problems if they get distracted or fatigued.

I hate to say this but they need a "instant replay" or something

the NBA is just horrible with its ref calls as a whole

Basketball is the most subjective sport to call, by far. Mistakes will be made, it's part of the game. It's not just the NBA, either. We always complain about how bad Big 12 officiating in basketball is, but it's like that nationwide.

I've read that there is holding on practicly every play in the NFL.

Yep, "holding" takes place on every play. The key is to keep your hands inside the shoulder to prevent getting called.
