Conviently, this story comes out less than a week after he makes his statements about how baseball should apologize, etc. I'm not convinced this story is true!

And the other story I've read recently concerning him was about the Yankees exploring the idea of voiding his contract if they found out he tested positive. Seems like a lot of stuff coming out at once.

That will be crappy if they void his contract. The Yankees knew good and well that he had taken roids when the signed him.

That was my thought, you can't tell me that they didn't know he was on roids when they got him. I would hope that he would come out and say something to that effect and admit he's been using and take their ass to the cleaners. I can't stand the Yankees

Might be from cold medicine. I had a friend fail a drug test at work for taking cold medicine that the Doctor told him to take.

If Giambi was batting over .300, do you think the Yankees would be considering this?

I just remember for a while he was real sick and missed alot of games, so I was giving the guy so slack but you never know with these players.

Is anyone really surprised that he failed a drug test? Is anyone really surprised when any major league player fails a drug test? The sport has been allowed, due to lack of control, to get into the shape it is in and nothing surprises me anymore.
