Due to six of his players being arrested in the Spring Joe Paterno has decided that his team will clean there football stadium after each homegame. I don't think it will help his recruiting but I like that he is trying to make his players more humble and accountable. Anybody think it will work?

no I dont think its gonna work in full.

some of the players will grab ahold of the idea. But every team has those guys with HUGE egos. And those will be the guys that sit around in the locker room buying time so they dont have to go out. Or they will find an excuse to why they have to go (family flew into town etc...)

Could cause problems in the locker room, who knows.

I respected the man before this, but that makes me respect him even more. I think it's a great idea and if he has players that won't comply with his instructions, kick their ass off the team. End of Story. The man has been coaching for i don't know how many years and is one of the greatest of all times, if he tells you to jump off a bridge you better do it and hope theres water or a big cushion or something to land on

I don't think it will correct behavior, but I applaud his effort.

Although I think the egos are way too out of control for this exercise to do anything, I do like the thought behind it.

I don't agree if he's going to make the whole team do it. Make the 6 guys that got arrested do it. That way the players can clearly see the consenquences for their actions.

Joe Pa rocks. Still a few of the old guard in today's College Football world. :gig:
