2/3 first teamers from Consol! Whoop! And 4 kids from Consol made Southland Conference All-league honors. That was one hell of a HS baseball team. Anyone know if the 2 Consol kids at Rice are in the running for all-conference honors?

Compare them...

Nicholson had a better ERA...5 more appearances, a better win% at 11-1 vs 12-2. He pitched 16 more innings but only gave up 14 more hits. In all those extra appearances, he actually had two less earned runs and 10 less walks issued. He also struck out 8 more batters.

Hands down Nicholson had a better season than Alaniz. He got screwed badly.

Wow! Even the Dallas Morning News voted Kyle Nicholson pitcher of the year and there a bunch of t-sippers and morons. If anyone would be biased it would be them.

Yeah, Nicholson got royally screwed. Maybe him and Alaniz will pitch against each other tomorrow so he can prove a point.
