Lets hope he continues to put things together. He's got the tools he just needs to figure out the mental part.
Gold: Right-hander Edinson Volquez threw seven shutout innings for Double-A Frisco in a 6-0 victory over San Antonio. He gave up four hits, walked one and struck out five.

i hope he figures it out, he seems like he always kill at double a, then is decent at triple a and then last year when we called him up towards the end, he got rocked. I have no doubt the guy has the tools, i just wonder sometimes if maybe the rangers pitching problems is in the minors somewhere, b/c they always seem to have "the tools" but never have the mental aspect to being a succesful major league pitcher. We've had too many guys that just couldn't cut it mentally in our club but had nasty stuff. Juan Dominguez is a prime example.
