and now it's time for some serious actions. I'm thinking that it's getting time for us to take the next step :wow:

Good luck, man. Sit down and think about it though. Make sure it is what you want to do and talk to the people that you are the closest to. Good luck with whatever you do.:gig:

well we've just moved in together. Re-doing a house is a pretty big test and she pretty much passed with flying colors.

Well that's a good sign.

Yeah plus there's the little things like when we went to a wedding last fall she made the statement "why would anyone have a wedding in football season?" And she wants to make all the money and I can do whatever I want to do.... I'm having a hard time finding a negative.

Sound like a pretty sweet deal.

for the married guys out there. Was there a point where you just knew? It's like I know that we're going to get married but at the same time I'm not in a super hurry to get engaged. Not because I want to be free or anything it's just I don't know. But at the same time I know that she's been getting antsy about the whole thing.

Do you still feel embarrassed to rip a loud fart in front of her? If the answer is no, then you know you have a special relationship.

what ever issues you have now, you better work on them VERY seriously before you get married or engaged. They get worse and its better to express the things you dont like now and have them changed

If you dont have a lot of freedom now, you may as well be living in a prison after you get hitched

I set the tone VERY early on in our relationship, thats the reason I dont have a lot of issues I see in other relationships (my buddies that are married)

Just be sure you both can talk about everything. That is the biggest hurdle most couples face.

You'll just know. There will be no wondering if it is the right decision. You'll be 150% sure. At least that was the way it was for me.

The fact that I really hate that she's gone for a full week is pretty much erasing all doubt. I dated my last g/f for 2 years and when she left for an internship for the summer I wasn't really that heartbroken about it.

My wife (girlfriend at the time) got in a serious car wreck! The thought of almost losing her & the emptiness that I felt was what convinced me she was the one! That was in '98, & we're still going strong!

I don't think I could take that. The other day she ran down the street to the store. After about 30 minutes and she hadn't returned I got worried. I called she didn't answer. I called again she didn't answer. I ended up driving down there and she was sitting in the parking lot talking business on the phone. It freaked me out thinking she had gotten in an accident.
