NCAA Football '08

Ok, any gamers on here? The game is set to come out in July (I think) and I'm curious if it's going to live up to the hype. I thought in the 2007 version, there were too many glitches and problems that took away from the fun (like balls going through players (if you watch the replays), overthrown balls dropping "magically" into receivers hands, etc).

Apparently this year they're adding some better "gameplay" and the hit stick. With the hit stick, you'll have 4 options, so if you're a DB, you can choose to go low for the legs on a big back instead of getting crushed. I'll buy it...I just hope it's good.

I have an XBox360. Anybody play online? My gamertag is Vlyrock if you ever want to play a game (when it comes out).

nobody has a ps3 so you will be playing by yourself ;)

but i dont think im going to get ncaa08 this year. still have ncaa07 and its decent enough (mainly because this summer is going to be kinda expensive as it is.... c&c3, mass effect are for sure buys for me and then there is stuff like forza2 and bioshock maybe)

Vly - I agree that easports had a lot of things they needed to fix from last years version. Hopefully this release will have improved gameplay and more realistic scenarios. Can't wait to see what it is able to do this year.

Yup... You got it.... They have a Highschool feature now....

Eventually they plan on maping out Highschool stadiums the same way they map out College Stadiums...

I have heard it will be done in stages but they wont go any lower than 3A....

Basically they will start with 6A & 5A stadiums one year & work their way on down the list the following year & so on....
