Love songs, and the degradation of society

Look, I was watching MTV (I still don't know why) and there was a video for a "love song" on. One of the lines from the guy singing was, "I got money in the bank" and he flashes a hunk of bills to the camera right when a female voice makes a noise of excitement. It wasn't just a rap song, but it was supposed to be a love song for sure. WHAT THE HECK?!! Since when is "I got money in the bank" about love? All I could do was laugh. But now I'm really depressed about this. I just wish that this image was dying out, but every year it gets spread more and more.

Love does not sell. Chicks that will accept a guy for the face on his money and not the face on his person....that sells. ;)

Don't forget that MTV targets the teenage crowd to about 25 years old. Most women/girls in that catagory are still looking for a cute guy with lots of money that will treat them like $hit and leave them. They still need time to date all the a$$holes before they find a real man to settle down with.
