Since the 90's beat out the 80's I have the 90's going up against the 70's. Just because you didn't live in the 70's doesn't mean you cant think, or feel that the 70's was a better decade. Read everything I have here and vote. Make sure you make your vote based upon EVERYTHING that decade had... not JUST music (for example) Below are some things to help remind you what each decade offered.

the Beatles the band is spelled with an a....the bug is with two e's and were more the 60's....only the Let it Be album was a new album the 70's...the rest were greatest hits...everything was in the 60's...In fact I think Lennon annouced he was leaving the band in 69 or early 70.

I was born in the 70s so I really don't remember much. Have to go with the 90s.

The 1970s was a fashion violation. And aside from disco, the music was better.

1990's:
The Internet as we know it began
I don't think anything from the 70's will ever touch that.
Note: I'm aware the internet was around in one form or another before this but it sucked until the 90's

90's in everything but music...

Im thinking the 90's in just about everything aswell
the only edge for the 70's might be crime rate/general living
everything else was better in the 90's
I think even music was better in the 90's over the 70's

The 70's by a landslide.
Great music and movies. The first generation home video games came out (Anyone here old enough to remember when the Ataria 2600 came out).
And I got to be a Fighting Texas Aggie!

I voted 90's but I do agree that the 70's were great. That was the generation that things really took off and began to change

Let's see...in the 70's we had Jimmy Carter for President, who quite possibly was the worst president ever. Under him, we had the Iranian hostage crisis and the botched attempt to rescue them, the Russian wheat embargo, which financially ruined many of our nation's farmers, OPEC--gas shortage and gas lines at the pump, out of control inflation, out of control interest rates. Also, there was the national humiliation of just losing the Vietnam war, hippies--who would later be known as liberals--who are still trying to ruin our country. Many of them have now reproduced and we are now seeing the second generation of people who just don't have a clue about life. About the only good thing to come from the seventies was that our country finally woke up and elected Ronald Reagan as president.
I'll take the 90's.

The entertainment side of the 70's was great though. The crime levels then were better than in the 90's. The 90's is when gangs were REALLY bad.
I voted 90's but the 70's were good too.

If you're talking rock and roll, then the 70's were better. Country music, on the other hand, was better in the 90's.

90's music and entertainment was far better than the 70's
but the thing about the 70's is that they had good music and entertainment and comparing the 60's to 70's you're talking about mountains of difference as far as technology
over all as a decade
90's > 70's

Just because the 90s were kind of boring, I am going with the 70s. No other time did we have a president "resign". :)
