Just picked up a LB from the Dallas area. His Name is DeMaurier Thompson, and he is 6'1 180 and runs a 4.6 40.. Supposedly those are his vitals from his sophmore year, but I am not worried. Coach Torbush our Defensive Coordinator has repeatedly said his best LB's always come in under 200 pounds.. This is another good pick up though Ags... :)

I still hope he's got some meat on him. I'm 6'1 and 170 and I'm skinny...either way...great pickup for the Ags. Were other teams recruiting him too? Who'd we steal him from if they were?

I heard that it is really 6'1" 195 right now. Those vitals were old. Plus people will put on like 20 pounds of muscle their first yearin the program, remember we are talking 17-18 year olds. I graduated highschool @ 19 I was 6'1" 155 and now after 2 years in college I am 190 and still run 3 miles a day. That guy could easily be 225 as a soph.

DeMaurier was recruited by Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas, KState, Oregon, and TCU. Us and Baylor were his only other offers though...
