You could say that about every show on tv. Especially these reality shows.

true.. this show is not even "train wreck" bad though
only when Im so freaking bored do I even pay attention. Then after Ive given them a chance to entertain me which they never do, I change the channel
sad thing is, its on my favorite channel and always on (when I get home)

I think its fairly decent & watch it occasionally for a couple of reasons! One, I like the fact that the guy had his own demons & overcame them to become a contributing member of society. Two, my dad & I have done a little bounty hunting of our own, so that makes it entertaining!

Your dad does resemble the lead guy now that I think about it!

I agree w/ Dustin. It's fun to watch everyonce in a while and I like that Dog tries to help the folks since, as Dustin said, his life hasn't been perfect.
As for bad genes, I'd say that Mrs. Chapman's genes hooked her up upstairs.

We watch it and like it. Even though Dog's hair looks like a vagina, the show is cool.

Thing that gets me is. though he is "doing a good thing" giving these people 2nd chances. They're addicts (most) and ANYONE that knows an addict knows one thing. They'll tell you anything...
most of the people they take in, id love to see what they're doing 3 weeks after they're out of jail

It doesn't matter if 99 outta 100 blow their chance to fix or improve their lives with the 2nd or 3rd chance. Its more than worth it for that 1 outta 100 whose life will be saved.

How about instead of throwing their glass pipes they smoke speed in and crushing it (2nd chance) of using it as evidence and nailing their nutts to the wall?
they'll be out soon doing it all over again anyways... God knows how many people gave them 2nd chances before Dog gave these people another one
again... if you know some drug/addicted people its all a vicious cycle

It's may be a cycle, but sticking druggies in jail isn't going to do anything to help them kick drugs. One look at our prisons and the streets prove that. Drug users usually have a much deeper issues and drugs are just a way for them to escape.
And again... even if 99 outta 100 never improve thier lives, that 1 is more than worth it.

He isn't giving them 2nd & 3rd chances though. He isn't involved in that at all. He is bringing in bail jumpers! Its the court's job to either give them another chance or lock them up! He is simply telling them how big of F**K ups they are & showing them that they can still make something of themselves (as he has done.)
