If Texas or Oklahoma don't win the Large Dozen, then who?

You've got to like Texas A&M. Dennis Franchione missed by one year his usual dramatic turnaround in Year 2. In Year 3, the Aggies are loaded and would be favored to win most conferences. Unfortunately for them, they are looking up at the 'Horns and Sooners in the South.

No one is talking about quarterback Reggie McNeal, who arguably has a better arm and legs than Texas' Vince Young. Watch for freshman tight end Martellus Bennett, a 6-foot-7, 243-pound specimen who almost declared for the NBA Draft.

Four of five offensive line starters return, and the defense is near Wrecking Crew quality. The season comes down to the last two games of the season -- a Nov. 12 game at Oklahoma and the annual Thanksgiving holiday game against Texas on Nov. 25.
