We've had an influx of visitors from the Clemson board so I thought this would be a good question for the board. What's the outcome of the A&M/Clemson game? Post details if you want.

This will be a tough game, but I think the Ags win 28-14. The tigers will be tough and its their home turf, but the Ags will be better this year both defensively and offensively. Our D line is stout and deep. I don't know where it will come from but we will have a sound running game this year, we just have too many horses not to (C. Lewis, Taylor, Lucas, Leone, The Lane Train). I also think Reggie will have a coming out party, it's at night at it's on national TV, in a possible Heisman run for him. Also, I think the Ags will remember last season opener, and they will be read this time. I respect the tiger, but the Ags win this one. Oh, almost forgot, Tellus makes a statement in this game as well, I think we find out in game one if Fran is going to redshirt him or not.

This game scares me. Y'all dominated us last year. I think home field will be a big factor in this years game, much like it was last year. The Valley can be electric at night. Chris Rix of Fla St. said it was by far the loudest stadium he's ever played in. I think the key to this game is our RB Reggie Merriweather. He came on strong at the end of last year, finishing the year with 10 TD (3 against Miami). If he can find some running lanes, the passing attack should be opened up for Whitehurst. We have some young recievers so they will have to step up, if they do we will move the ball all over the field. I say Clemson takes this one 27-24.

It should be very interested, and your are right, home field accounts for a lot. Thankfully our D line is looking very good, so I feel confident in stopping the run. Now the pass, that a different story, our CB got burned last year, but they are young and have another year of experience, but until they show it on the field you just never know.

Yeah, I posted on the Clemson board about how our Defensive Line was the strong point of our defense. I expect a lot of QB's and RB's to be dropped in the backfield...both in the Clemson game, and throughout the season.

Our OL should be huge and good. That should be a great matchup in the trenches. We have some issues at CB ourselves. Justin Miller left early for the draft. Tye Hill is solid, but there will be a new starter one the other side. We have some talent, but you never know till you see it on the field. Our new D-Cordinator's scheme will put a lot of pressure on our CBs. The offense should be better than the one y'all saw last year. The cordinator on that side is known for getting the most out of his QBs and Whitehurst is already a really good QB. Should be a great game.

I am not that worried at all about the Clemson game. If anything, the "bad" games I expect out of A&M are later in the year when the wear and tear kick in.
Early on in the season, I expect A&M and Neal to dominate with a improved D
