Yeah, we've hit the skids lately, but last night was a wonderful, improbable come-from-behind win, and not one mention of it has been made.
UNTIL NOW!
P.S., the TSU pitcher that almost single-handedly beat Rice in the regional last year is pitching against us tonight. Could be a short, low-scoring affair.

You are right EK, it was a hell of a comeback. I thought for sure we have to chalk it up as an L, but when that outfielder dropped the ball, I felt we were going to win. Honestly, I thought we going to win in the 9th, with the runner on 3rd. What was nice is we made the comeback with 2 out in the 9th, if memory serves. Did you notice Texas States unis, was it me or do they have the T-star logo almost identical to ours? We need to stop stranding runners. Runners in scoring positions, with no outs in the inning, and then no runs scored equals a bad season.

Almost forgot another thing I wanted to discuss, what did you think of Glover at the lead off spot? I think he should have been in there since a long time ago. Man he's got some wheels, if hits in the infield you have to hurry the throw to first or he will beat you. I though he did great. :)

I thought their unifiorms had a T-star look to them, but couldn't see them all that well on AUA.
Good win, but against a not so goo team.
Looks like the Ags are taking care of business against another "TSU" tonight - 7-0, top of 6th.

Yeah, they stole our logo. We fought it, but we lost. Here's their logo on their ring:

There is a barely noticeable "S" in the background, that's the difference.

southwest TEXAS STATE university can go to hell for stealing our "T" and Texas Southern's "TSU."
As far as their baseball team goes, they're actually not too bad this year, but yeah we should have beaten them (left 15 runners on base, most of those in scoring position).
I like Glover in the lineup, but I'm not sure he's ready to be a leadoff man, yet. He looks extremely good in the batter's box, but uncomfortable on the bases. He hasn't developed a knack for stealing bases or picking up the coach as he rounds second base.
Sebek and Stein are both better leadoff hitters right now, in my opinion, but I'd love to see Glover get some more playing time in a run-producing slot in the lineup (5th or 6th). If that were the case, though, I'm not at all sure who I'd like to have leading off, since I don't want to take Infante's wheels and glove out of CF during Big XII play.
Also, it was nice to see us rough up a bad TSU team. I really was concerned it was going to be another nailbiter, but TSU's defense is just atrocious, and that really helped in the big 2nd Inning.

Man they did steal our logo, what's up with that, when did it happen?
I see what you're saying Gill, and I can't argue much with that logic. I think if we would have had hits at the right time, our record would be very different, just too many runners stranded. Last night, don't remeber the inning, but with runners at the corners, the runner at first takes off and falls down on purpose, so the pitcher runs to him, at the same time the runner on third takes off to home plate, pitcher turns around to throw him out but is to late, meanwhile the runner who purposely fell down gets up and makes it safe to second. Freaking, brilliant play, second time this year. Brilliant, just Briliant.

That double steal was in the 2nd Inning, as well. We ran that same play to perfection against Kansas, too, with Pouk on first falling down and Mavroulis stealing home. It only works on left-handed pitchers, though.
