Clemson Friendlies...

I went and joined over at Tigernet (the Clemson forum). I posted about the upcoming game and immediately got several responses. Every response has been positive either for A&M's football team, or the way the fans of Clemson were treated last year at Kyle. That makes you feel good to be an Aggie supporter.

Go join their board and jump in on the conversation. I'd love to get some Clemson people contributing over here.

The way we treat fans has always been something I'm very proud of. Its always a good feeling when you say "oh I graduated from Texas A&M", and somebody says, "oh yeah, best fans, went there can't believe how I was treated".....St. Joseph fans were in awe at how nice we were during our NIT game.

I took an RV trip to College Station last year with some buddies. I had heard about y'all's reputation for treating fans so well, but I thought it was probably exaggerated slightly.

I was wrong. In fact, it wasn't hyped up enough. From the moment we stepped off the RV, we were treated like kings. A guy cutting grass for the school stopped the mower and welcomed us.

The food, the Dixie Chicken, the bought drinks, the women and the atmosphere were one of a kind. I wish we played a regular series vs. A&M. It was, far and away, the best football road trip I've ever taken. I don't know how y'all orchestrate all of it so you treat fans so well, but you've succeeded on a phenomenal level.

Hey I would like to extend some love for the Clemson fans I met and hung out with when y'all came down last year. Knowlegeable about the sport, big fans of their team and even though they came in favored no Clemson people I met (hey, some could have been jerks but not the ones I had a few with) weren't *******s. I thought "how remarkable." After years of dealing with complete total idiot dirt monkeys, sips and trailer trash looking OU fans, I was suprised we could have a game together like that. Clemson fans were all well groomed! They had on polo shirts and slacks! The sooners come here with their mullets and covered in oil from Bobby John's auto body shop in nowhere okieland, the tcehfans are drunk retards who vandalize our campus and try to start riots everywhere they go and the sips are insufferably arrogant bastards who act like they own the world. Come back!

In 2005, I predict losses to Texas A&M, at Maryland, at NCST, to FSU, and at GT. I do think we'll "upset" Miami.
