actually ms is doing something cooler but only exists in certain cities (the bigger ones)

well im still on my first 360 but have heard the numerous reports of failures.... that said its at 10mil already (or slightly lower depending on who you talk to) so it has to be some sort of success. Plus it has media center extender which kicks insane amounts of ass.

as for vista the fact that its better than xp at launch tells me its a success..... XP at this point is a very mature product and vista at launch for me atleast has been more stable and smooth than xp.

For any of you that have smartphones (treo, Q, blackberry, etc), you should definitely download google maps to your phone. Not only can it track you via the GPS on your phone, but it gives you directions and maps to anywhere in the world and give you traffic reports. What is even cooler is that if you are searching for a business, it can locate it, tell you the phone number, and then even automatically connect you to that number for free.

i do the same thing with live.... for the windows mobile variety of smartphones live works much smoother than google maps does (for my Q atleast)
