Does our banner ad really have to be "find singles in Kentucky?" Seriously now. I'm tired of Kentucky.
Yes, I know its random by Google based on what people are talking about on this site, so spare me the explanation. :)

Its at the top of all the threads when you open them. The one I see on this thread is "Trade DVD's for free." Earlier, they were all Kentucky ads.

That's very strange that two people in the same user group would be seeing different things...

The banner ads are from Google and tries to put ads that are "relevant" to the page content.

if you have firefox you most likely have the adblock plugin installed... thats most likely why some people dont see the ads since we just use google if you blocked google anywhere else they are blocked here.
granted i think we remove ads for all paid subscribers anyways.

I get them as well. I click on them once a week or so in order to give the site some more money. I browse around on whatever site it takes me too as well to make sure it isn't recorded as a click fraud. they don't really bother me at all.
For me most of the time they are advertising gmail and I already have a gmail account.

It's Jag's fault (for once i can blame it on him). In the original themes, I built in the code that would allow for paying members not to see the ads -- but he's created new themes without this and so it's showing up for everybody. :)
