Anyone think Fresno State will give A&M their best shot or will they save that for Oregon, who they battle for recruits & not to mention that Fresno State hates the Pac-10....

That is of course until the Pac-10 finally invites them in...

I know about their coach & his "any time, any place" mentality, but I just don't think they have the talent they had in 2005 when they almost beat USC....

I am just wondering if they have to pull their punches or if they feel they can play 2 road games back to back against A&M & Oregon and give it 100% in both...

I am not as worried about this game as I was earlier in the summer. I was out there listening to the radio for the last three weeks for work and found out that they really lost a lot of players last year. They only had 35 returning lettermen this year. I was really shocked that there were so few.

well maybe not "make or break" but for sure it'll be a "break" for fran if he loses. I'll support this team through anything, but I have a feeling if we lose this one that Fran's wagon will be suddenly much much smaller.

i seriously doubt this game will be any more of a "break" than our game against montana state or the directional la school (our other ooc opponents). if anything...those other 2 games are more of "break" games for Coach Fran.

well i know we're favorites, which is why I think fran is on his way out if we lose.

I'll be there to support the team as always. The other is a prediction more than what my feelings will be.

you might be right, if we lose to fresno state it will probably not be good for Coach Fran's career. i am confident that we won't have to worry about it though.

I think FS will be prepared to play us best they can, just like they would prepare for a conference game like Oregon. Beating A&M would be good for his program, and would bring up comparisons between FS and Cal, another team he has to recruit against, and another team considered to be much improved last year and this year.

I do agree with you, though, that they are not as good as the 2005 team...and even that team died at the end of the 2005 season. They had a CInderella season that year, and probably won't ever agin. We should beat them in similar fashion to Montana State.
