Anyone think it's a good idea that the Sooners plays Miami before A&M does?

I will say this... Miami has some brass marbles to take on both A&M & OU in the same season while still playing FSU, Va Tech, BC, & the rest of the ACC....

i see it has a bad thing. Miami has a test in OU...they'll be prepared for A&M. We don't play anyone til them. advantage them.

Also they could be starting a new QB.... from what a friend of mine has been telling me... they have a pretty good QB controversie going on over there.....

Freeman is pushing Wright for the starting job... new QB could equal more INT's for the A&M 2ndary.

I say playing OU first is a slight disadvantage due to the exposure to injury. We know we'll be the more physical team because well we're a physical team.

We don't have to play a team before Miami that will absolutely crush you if given the chance (OU). Stoops will want this one badly to get the season off to a good start. Look for a kitchen sink game from the Sooners and some big hits.

I will say this... Miami is going get hit in the mouth twice... OU can run the ball & play the "3yds & cloud of dust" game just as good as A&M....

With OU bringing in a new QB.... I would expect OU to hit Miami with a run heavy offense.....

2 brutal games between September 8th & 20th will be rough on Miami.... Lets not forget that Miami plays FIU right before A&M... so we can expect 1/2 of Miami's team to be banned from the A&M game for fighting.....

Miami will have a tough test ahead of them...

I honestly don't know what I want from this. If the Sooners win, it's less impressive and probably more difficult for us. If the Sooners lose, the Big XII looks weaker. As long as the Aggies win, I'm happy!

ou loses, ags win...so much press about the FIU game that they only get one week to prepare for the spread offense and all of mcgee's choices...AGS WIN on an impressive, time-crunching, last drive in front of a half-empty stadium
