Ahead of both France and England. That is pretty sweet. They have to be just hating that.

I'm impressed, a few years ago, we completely sucked. Iraq at 52, is interesting, they made a bit of noise in Athens, good for their country's morale. I'm a bit surprised we are ranked ahead of France and England, soccer is big there. Damn Argentinians, they can play some Futbol ;) , I'm impressed with the Mexicans, soccer is big there, but they usually crumble in the World Cup, when is the next world cup and where?

Yeah, this is kind of like the Tour de France. I don't care at all about the sport, but I love to see America beat the countries that really care about it.

Tomorrow at 6:00pm somewhere in New Jersey as far as I can figure. It would be nice if it was televised, I'd watch.

NOW IN NEW JERSEY: The U.S. is settling into new digs for the final time in the 2005 Gold Cup, having completed the six-hour bus ride from Boston to Somerset, N.J., early Monday evening. The team will conduct it's first session in the Garden State in the early afternoon, with temperatures expected to climb into the low 90's. All 21 players are expected to participate in the last intense training prior to the semifinal duel with Honduras on July 21 in East Rutherford, N.J. Kickoff at Giants Stadium is set for 6 p.m. ET, and the match will be shown live on Telefutura. Fans can also follow the match live on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker, presented by Philips Electronics.
So it is now at Giants Stadium :gig: , it will be hot, that is for sure. Looks like tv coverage is limited to spanish, telefutura, I know I have Univision :gig: (hot babe TV) , but I unforutunately don't think I have that channel.

It is USA soccer, any national team draws attention. I'm not a big fan of soccer, like on Univision or MLS, but if the US team men or ladies are playing, I will definetly watch. Gotta support the American pride :gig:

I don't put a whole lot of stock in rankings or anything, but we have come a very long way.
