Who do you want to schedule?
They're deliberating whether to add it right now or not and I think the article says they'll have a decision by April 28th.

I'd like to see us schedule a big 10 school...we don't play them enough. Texas has Ohio State...I'd like to see us take on Wisconsin. They usually have a good D but weak O...we'd probably match up well.
How's that for a random school?

I would rather play an SEC team.... But that would take some balls to throw that on the schedule as another game. For both sides of the ball. Interesting to see what happens.
Especially since you could probably say that we might be thinking of making a HUGE run in 2006? What would you do..... What would you do???

Doesn't matter, they'll throw a pattycake on their like SE Louisiana or La-Lafayette...another yawner that you have to pay $50 to attend. :o
Since there's no playoffs, there's no motivation to schedule tough out-of-conference opponents...unless of course, you plan on losing one in-conference game...then tough schedule helps. But most teams think, I'll go undefeated in conference, play an easy OOC schedule, and then I'm in the National Championship...why jeopardize that in the first two weeks of the season?

Bring back the LSU series
I'm with you on that quote but I have to agree with Vlyrock that they are going to schedule some easy opponent.

Any old SWC school (including Arkansas and LSU), would be nice. That way, if we play twice with one home game, the away game is feasable for poor college students (like myself) to attend.
Virginia Tech, Clemson (after this year), and Notre Dame would be fun. They are very similar programs to A&M that would recieve massive attention at either location. It might also be fun to take on a mid-major "powerhouse" like Fresno State, Boise State, Southern Miss, or Louisville.
Or, for TV money and strength of schedule, we could play a team like USC, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee, or Miami (besides the two years we are already scheduled to play them).

I'm pretty confident that they'll schedule another cupcake school. Even though I would like to see a big name school outside of the Big XII come and play in Kyle.
