My wife has had our suburban's windshield repaired at least three times. You can't tell there was ever a chip. I don't know the exact cost, but it's a lot cheaper than a new windshield even with insurance.

We're in Lampasas. I just asked the wife about it and she said she just called our insurance company (USAA). They sent someone from SafeLite to fix it. It didn't cost us anything.

Me too. Just call USAA and they will hook you up. By far the best company for insurance, banking, etc.
