"I told him we've been through a lot together and that I wanted him to make the best decision for himself," Kirk said. "I told him he was going to be a great coach wherever he goes. He's a great coach."

He understands. The fans need to understand also.

Opportunities for such a prestigious program like Kentucky don't come around every day.

I'm going to miss BCG, he did a helluva job at A&M, while I'm disappointed he left, I'm not angry at all. That's the way the coaching business works.

ehh, it's a non-issue anymore. lets move on and talk about our future coach. We're in a better position than we were a few years ago, and we have what could be a good future ahead of us. Let's focus on that. We had a fun trip, and let's make it fun again

it's not a non-issue. we could very easily slip back into nothingness. We're not assured to get a good coach that will continue on.

I don't see BB letting the basketball program slip back into nothingness. BCG didn't just appear on the doorstep one day, BB was the one that went out and got him. BB is trying to make certain A&M excels at all sports. In the past all sports except for football were ignored. Now that we have our first professional athletic director all sports are being given the resources and attention that are needed for them to be as good as they should at a university the size of A&M.

I hope that's true. I wonder how the search is going.

Well considering I haven't been called yet, not that great.

Yeah I know. I'd be the basketball coach for 250,000 a year. I might only be there for a year cause I'd be so bad at it.

Yep, him leaving for Kentucky is understandable and not a big surprise. It's the fact that he lied to everyone about staying and then left that makes me mad.

As well as many Alumni fans that I have spoken to. They said that this was done in a very NON-Aggie way. Then it was followed by a lot of F&&&%%%%%%% FFF&&&&&&&&&& you get the point.
