Is bad this year... I remember in the past waiting for football season but never this bad with 45 days still to go. Totally miserable. :cry:

I think it's bad because I'm on football forums alot more now and it's totally in my face every day that we have 45 days to go. Maybe I should pull the plug until then. :mad:

Son, we live in a world that has sidelines, and those sidelines have to be coached by men with headsets and whistles. Whose gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Coolaid? I have more responsibility here than you could possibly fathom. You weep for poor Fran, and you curse the Aggies. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That a 7-5 year, while tragic, probably saved lives. And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to many of the former students out there, saves lives. I know deep down in places you dont talk about at parties, you want me on that sideline, you need me on that sideline. We use words like Whoop, Gig 'Em and Farmers Fight. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very bowl season I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a media guide, and stand post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!" :gig:
