On the defensive side of the ball sophomore Kellen Heard (http://tamu.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=51056) is standing out. Heard is once of the most improved players since he stepped on campus two seasons ago. At one point he seemed to be a player that would never see a snap of college football, but Heard dropped the weight and is now one of the top tackles on the team.
On the offensive side of the ball, the line is as steady as ever. Junior Yemi Babalola (http://tamu.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=36204) is completely back from his injury, and is looking better than ever. Babalola is a beast at offensive tackle, and has a very bright future ahead of him and not just at A&M.
The rest of the line is as strong as ever with seniors Corey Clark (http://tamu.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=35686) and Kirk Elder (http://tamu.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=24029). Currently, senior Chris Yoder (http://tamu.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=24065) is working with the first team at guard in the spot vacated by Grant Dickey.http://tamu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=658297 (http://tamu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=658297)
