Winning is more important...
tu, Florida, tOSU... none run a pro style offense.... South Carolina who just signed a Top 5 Class does not run a pro style offense, neither does Illinois.....
Kids want to get their name out there... that is more important than what system they are in at the College Level....
Kids aren't completly dumb...
They know that if you get on a winning team, regardless of their style you will get alot of hype & get a lot of media attention which makes it easier for NFL teams to look at you...
Best example... Vince Young... not your typical QB, & tu doesn't run anything close to a pro style offense, yet because they won games & because he made some plays, he had his name out there & when it came to the draft he got paid....
Same thing with McFadden from Arkie...
But it also depends on their position...
If your a stud RB on a losing team, you can still put your name out there... but if your a stud CB on a losing team, it's a lot harder to get your name out there.....
A QB though, is always based on "W"s, not systems.... well not entirely on systems...
