I just saw this movie for the first time last week(I know I'm about 5 years late), and I noticed that the high school's fight song at the pep rally was the War Hymn. Has anyone else noticed that?

Yep. I was suppose to be in an extra in that movie..... Just to be in the stands when they were filming but I ended up getting wasted that night so I didn't make it. Which is why I'm posting here with you guys (and girl) not a big action star in Hollywood right now.

Also, the strip club they go to in the movie is actually The Landing Strip over by the Austin airport. Speaking of The Landing Strip, that has to be the all time best name for a strip club.

Friday Night Lights reminded me of my coaches speeches. A lot of those "You'll remember this for the rest of your life" or "this is an opportunity to be a part of something special" speeches.

The only difference: we had a 2-8 record and everybody in town went to the other high school's games.
