Way to go Rangers. You lost by 2 TD's and a FG. Question for you Ranger fans out there that think your team is worth a ****: How does this make you feel? Your opening day starter gave up 12 hits and 9 earned runs in 4 1/3 innings. You bullpen proceeded to give up 13 more hits and 15 more runs.
They are so desperate that they called sloppy seconds on Ezequiel Astacio after he couldn't cut it with Houston.
It will be a fun year watching Texas miss the playoffs (again).

Only a few more days until the real thing starts.
Hey the Rangers had Nolan Ryan, Pudge Rodreguiez, and Juilo Franco at one time and they still sucked. What has chagned.

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The weather service said winds were gusting up to 41 miles per hour at Surprise Stadium on Monday. Padres pitcher and fanatical golfer Greg Maddux called it a "four-club wind."
Rangers pitcher Kevin Millwood only knew he didn't like pitching in it.
"It was blowing pretty good," Millwood said. "I didn't feel it that much, I just felt the effects of it."
I know it's an excuse

Of course it did. The padres had up walls to block the wind while maddux pitched!
