Ags drop to #14

As expected, after the Ags poor weekend in baseball (dropping 2 of 3 to OU), we dropped from #8 to #14 in Baseball News' rankings.

The Big 12 has 5 teams ranked right now. Some teams of note:

A&M #14
Rice #15
OU #20
Okie State #22
Mizzouri #25
TCU #26 (tomorrow's opponent)
Texas State #30 (was shocked to see Texas State in the rankings)

Normally I would agree, but their baseball team has been on fire the last couple of weeks. We'll see how they do against a good team when they play Rice tomorrow.

hate to admit this...

but they have had so much success over the years. they're kinda like the Notre dam of College baseball. Though the media doesn't really care about NCAA baseball... the love will go to t.u

now back to slamming t.u baseball. Their stadium is a dump :cool:

This poll seems to like the Ags. We jumped up to the top 10 pretty quickly early this year. Its Baseball America that doesn't like us that much.

Why were you shocked to see us in the rankings?

Baseball isn't like football, we compete for the same championship you guys do.

We are 19-8 and 6-0 in conference, I think we deserve to be ranked.

BTW, Bobcat pitcher Justin Fiske was named one of the Louisville Slugger Players of the Week last week. He had 17 strikeouts in 8 innings against Nicholls State.

When was the last time that Texas State was ranked? I can't remember ever seeing you guys in the rankings. Not saying you don't deserve it, but I just don't ever recall seeing your team mentioned.
