Anyone think there isn't any bias against A&M....

3 of the 4 so called "Experts" picked L-Ville & tu to win in the 2nd round....

I think the L-Ville home court advantage really took hold the more folks looked at it.

They were wrong.

Home Court Nothing...

A&M won at KU, at OSU & should have won at tu....

Nothing against UL, but they aren't any better than 2 of those 3.....

i'm not sure b/c i wasn't there, but it should as heck sounded like they hand one hell of a home-court advantage in terms of noise and crowd support. fortunately for us, our guys were able to make a big play to slow down just about every run/momentum shift towards lu.

I heard quite a few Ag Yells during the game....

Yeah, the crowd was ridiculous. I hope when the tournament is over, and it doesn't look like whining, that BG and other coaches rip into the committee for the crappy seeding/placement.

They had to have done it on purpose too.... How easy was it to avoid it?

Memphis played in New Orleans as a 2 seed. Why not put Memphis in Kentucky (which is closer to them anyways) and then put is in New Orleans? There ya go, both seeds are protected and you're good to go.

You could feel the crowd just watching it on TV. It was insane. Great use of TOs by BCG yesterday. He seemed to know exactly when to bring the guys over to the bench & calm them back down & get refocused.

Nah, that's just how things play out sometimes. I'm sure the team we end up playing in SA on Thursday and Sat. will be saying "man, the Aggie crowd was ridiculous!", "A&M totally had home court. The committe really sucked, and that was crappy placement."

tu has played in San Antonio in the Tourney & so has ttu... anyone complain then? I doubt it.. anyone who wants to complain needs to look at the whole tourney...

Any think UCLA got the hook up? All their damn games are in Cali....WTF...

I could go on & on... screw perception.. The Ags didn't pick where they would play or who they play... just are dealing with what they were handed & making the best of it..... If L-Ville couldn't win with a Pro UL crowd, that's their fault not ours...

White Out The Alamo Dome!!!!!!!!!!!

Except that we had to win 2 games to get there. Louisville got the home court from the start.

Yes, they did play in San Antonion for the regional finals, but they were not screwed by having to play a road game in the first or 2nd round.

Still they played in SA & no one bitched about it then....

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the committee supposed to protect the higher seeds in the first two rounds?

I guess that's why UCLA is at home the whole way... but L-Ville got the hook up in the 1st 2.... A&M got the shaft, but there is some kind of conspiracy helping the Ags... :stupid:

Yes, high seeds are supposed to be protected in the opening weekend and then nothing guaranteed after that.

t.u. and A&M had to travel the furthest of any team in the tourney in the first two rounds. We had to travel about 1100 miles, t.u. over 2400. No other team had to travel more than 800 miles. In the end, it will all pay off for us now that we are in S.A.

I think we now have the biggest home court advantage of all the teams left in the tournament.

UCLA in Sacramento? I would say their Home Court Advantage is the same as A&M's...

You mean San Jose. But I would imagine that A&M fans travel better than UCLA fans.

UCLA has a strong Baskeball following... especially in state.... but the Ags whould be able to White Out the Alamo Dome....

I'd say we have more of a home court because our fan base and university is closer...but UCLA wil have just as big of an advantage where they're at...

And the committee is only supposed to protect higher seeds in the first two rounds. They can't start protecting teams later because there's no guarantee what teams will advance, etc and it's too much work for something that may never pan out.
