things ive read on their meltdown threads:
1: We are not very talented (yeah, what does every basketball media source in the country know)
2: Their freshman is better than Acie Law(who calls their freshman the best player in the country?)
3: There is a massive ncaa conspiracy to make louisville lose to TAMU
4: The refs called a one sided game( they had more free throws than we did, free throws were the only thing that kept them in the game)
I didnt see one thread that credited us with a good win unless and Aggie had already conratulated them on a game well played. I havent seen such poor sportsmanship except tceh. So, no matter how they look at it

Typical sports fans bitterness after a close loss. Not a big deal.

that sousa kid played a hell of a game, he's going to be a good one in years to come. in the end, his 2 freshman mistakes cost them. we didn't take advantage of his first mistake, but we capitalized on the 2nd one and won the game.

Wow.... Just wow.....
You gotta hate sore losers....
Their Fish being better than Acie is a crock.... Talk about ego.....
If that Fish was better he would have made that last shot... a shot we all know Acie can & has made time & time again....
Have they looked at their Box Score?
Granted Sosa was the only one to really do anything... but damn.... They were beaten by a better team....

why waste time bashing the hell out of Coach Fran during the offseason and during the season when you can't do a darn thing about it?

i wonder how many peoples' days you have ruined with your Coach Fran whining? :spy:
enjoy your day though, it was a great day for the Aggies! :gig:

My apologies.
I was merely saying let's look ahead instead of looking at a team that's out of the tournament. But someone had to bring up a bad topic and get personal.
I will ignore it from now.

if just brining up the subject of your constant Coach Fran bitching and whining might ruin your day, imagine what actually having to listen to all of it does to someone's day.
ignoring it is a good idea. because apparently it is aiiright if you are doing it, but bothersome if someone else is doing it. imagine that. :bored:

Just for clarification.
What had the potential of ruining my day was not the fact you brought up what you thought was "constant coach fran bitching and whining..."
The subject that had the potential of ruining my day was fact that "Fran" was introduced on an Aggie Basketball Forum on a day of Aggie Basketball victory.
I don't care what you think of my views, but if this is one of those sites where only certain views are allowed and only certain people's views are tolerated, then I will find no need to visit this site, let alone support it.

Folks can say what they want... but they can't expect everyone to share their view & expect no one to reply.....
Both Sides have free speech.... and part of that free speech means someone can say to leave....

Absolutely.
I just didn't care for the cheap shot when what I wrote had nothing to do with where he took the conversation.
It's not like I wrote Fran and Gillispie should trade paychecks or something..... Hmmm....

The theme song to be associated with this thread is Number Three Acacia Avenue by Iron Maiden.

Man, I wasn't even thinking about Fran until you brought him up. You DO think about him a lot, don't you?
But now, since you did, I bet people are thinking "if we can pay Fran that kind of money for that kind of results, we should be paying Gillispie some more coin, too".
Gillispie's earned it. :gig:

Well, with rumors and speculations that other programs are going to try and lure Gillispie away, I think he deserves big program type money for the results that he's produced. It would be a shame if A&M let this guy go.

We'd be posting the same thing if Louisville won (complaining about refs, cheap fouls, etc) -- it's just the nature of the beast in the NCAA tournament. It's a win or your season's over mentality and when you lose, it's rough. Especially, in their case, when they had home court, momentum, and the lead late. It's rough.
As Ags, we just ignore it, get ready to take on Memphis or Nevada (hopefully Nevada) and then keep on winning... BTHO whoever.

Its the nature of the beast to complain and be bitter when your team loses, especially a close game like that.
Most people on here do the same thing after losses. Blaming the refs, saying the other team was less skilled and got lucky. Its not a unique phenomenon to message boards either, I think I've been known to say similar things in bars after watching close Aggie losses (LSU last year comes to mind).
Why focus on what other teams' fans are saying after we beat them. Vly's right, ignore it, and cheer for your team to keep winning.
We must be playing the 6 degrees of Coach Fran game. You have to take any thread started and within six posts turn it into a Fran bashing thread.
