Have you noticed the Flip Flop that occurs in the listing the names of the teams that are playing each other from the tournament bracket to the box score.
NCAA must want those number 1 teams at the top of their regional bracket, because it looks better I guess. :stupid:

When has #1 not been on the top of a bracket?

I was not questioning any change of the No. Ones status on the bracket. It's just that they are put at the bottom of the box score for home team status, and it's a little confusing when you are trying to play our little gambling game.

But they are put at the bottom of the box score for home team status. Just a little confusing when you are trying to play our little gambling game.
Because the higher seed is the "home team" and thus belongs at the bottom of the box score.

I have absolutely no idea what the point of this thread is.

Kyle and 12thAG, since you are not in our gambling game you would not immediately understand.
The scores are upside down if you look at the bracket for our winners.

Kyle, did you mean 6/9 in the box score would be 9/6 in the bracket?
Actually, the positioning or listing of the higher seeds in the bracket changed after 1984. That was also the last year the higher seeds had byes.
Please note that the number one seeds North Carolina, DePaul, Kentucky and Georgetown are all listed under their first game opponent in the 1984 bracket and are not on the top.

That's OK, we all have a lot to learn. I will do my best to help you, if you will be patient with me. :)

Here is what I mean. Yahoo Sports lists the scores in their updated bracket, where the NCAA does not. So if Yahoo's bracket is going to be any good to me, it requires me to stand on my head to check my right-side up numbers with their upside-down numbers. :D I'm looking for fours over not fours under.

My Grandchildren call me "Big G", because I am the "Big Grandfather". My little Garrett, our middle grandson, is called "little g", because he is still little. His Dad started calling him that. Yes, my only son-in-law and the recipient of my practical joke:

I'll give you so more time to figure it out. It's really fairly simple, if you think about it.

You're completely insane? :D
Is that a question or an observation or maybe both? :D
My wife has told me that I can be eccentric at times. I am certainly eclectic and I do have a diverse group of friends that I enjoy.
 or insane? nah.
