Should they have been in the NIT or a lower seed... or were they placed that high simply because of their Name?

No, they deserved to be in the NCAA. Possibly a lower seed, but they had good wins. They just got matched up against a very good, and very hot, VCU team. I think they would've beaten any of the other 11 seeds....

I thin Duke deserved to get in, they were top 15 the last week of the season. I do think they should have been an 8 or a 9 seed though and benefited from having the Duke name.

Duke was seeded about right. You get stolen from 11 times and miss 12 free throws, and you will lose.

Duke was seeded about right.
No way in hell they were seeded right. Sure, they should have been in the tourney, but a 6 seed? How are they a 6 seed and Nevada is a 7?
