Neighbors

Wade's thread brings up a good question:

Do you actually talk to you neighbors, or just let the silence build up until you begin to loth their presence, or do you make generic comments to them as they walk by? :cheesy:

I'll say the occasional howdy, but other than that I just make fun of them behind their backs. My neighbors suck.

It's not that I hate my neighbors is that I know they hate me.... But then there are just four units here and the upstairs consists of a Trinity University professer and the other one is a doctor who works at the Medical Center in SA.

Then there is me on the bottom and admittedly I'm pretty loud at times even though I try to be quiet. I think I would hate me as a neighbor. I think the hot chick who is looking at the vacant unit might be a Trinity student since I live right behind the school.

Speaking of being loud... One day a buddy of mine stopped by to pick me up and we were going to go to New Braunfels to go tubing and while I was packing some stuff he downloaded some porn off of Limewire (not that I approve of downloading porn....) But anyway, he tried to preview it while it was downloading but it wouldn't let him so he forgot about it.

But it was set up so you couldn't view it until it completely downloaded so hours later while we were gone already it started playing at full volume. Plus it kept starting over when it ended so it had been playing all day. I freaking was walking to my apartment thinking, "Jesus, somebody is really getting it on....." Then closer.... "Wait a minute, that's coming from my apartment!"

Yeah, they hate me.

I can't stand most of my neighbors. The upsairs people speak little engish and play their music as loud as they can at all times. The only "speaking" I do with them is banging on the ceiling to get them to shut up. My next door neighbor is an old guy who my family has nicknamed "blue" (old school lol) and i talk to him ever now and then. To complete the fourplex, the couple 2 doors down both go to A&M and I talk to them every chance i get. I'll get to know my neighbors better when i buy a house (that is of course if it's not on a few acres....ahhh the thought of seclusion)

My neighbor across the street hates me and my roommates. For some reason, she doesn't like us parking in front of her house - on the street! One time she almost hit me with her car to prove her point.

The neighbor on our right is Fix-it-all, so they were handy when a 250 LB linebacker from UMHB went through our wall. The neighbor on the left is an old guy. Actually, now that I think about it, I haven't seen him in a few days...maybe I should go check and see if he's okay... :(

I wouldn't like people constantly parking in front of my house either. I don't know any of my neighbors. The guys across from me always leave their trash sitting outside. How hard is it to take your trash to the dumpster? Most people leave their apt at least once a day, and we have to drive past 2 dumpsters to get out of the complex? None of my neighbors are loud. Though if I shared a wall/ceiling/floor with the ones across from me, I'm sure they'd annoy me. I sometimes here their tv up loud when I'm coming up the stairs.

I always thought my neighbors were good... until a few days ago.

Right after I renewed my lease the India guy in the apartment beside me started blaring India music and leaving his door open all day which leaves a weird Indian food stinch on my front porch. The family on the other side of me is pretty white trash and now their kids run around the complex at all hours. ( I hear them screaming outside at 7am :mad: )
That and the pool where the hotties use to be is full of kids :(

Oh, and for a long time I was convenced the guy across from me was watching me. Everytime I left the complex he was either comming out of his apartment, standing on his porch or leaning on his car :( It was all very odd.

All my neighbors are Yankees and I can't stand them. They are just so ridiculous its not even funny any more.

I really have never been a big neighbor guy....I haven't really had a sit down conversation with my neighbors for 4 years now.

Am moving in a few months anyway. :p
