Could it be that they pass the ball better and they have to "shoot" the ball to put it in the basket.

The game was not designed for the thuggery and for the genetic freaks that over power the game today. There are just too many players that can't shoot the basketball and that have to rely on the slam dunk to score points. Take the dunk out of basketball and you will see better basketball, period.

Maybe they can start an under 6'5" league in college or lower the basket to 8 feet so everyone can dunk. The latter would be more fair than rising it two feet.

Yes, their attendance figures are going up.

It was not too long ago OU had announced that they were going to drop women's basketball from their program, because attendance was so poor and they were not winning. Now some women's games at Loyd Noble have more people watching than the men.

unless games are sold out, the avg attendance should be slowly rising... i know that there will be up years and down years based on performance... that's why i said avg.

most colleges accept more and more fish every year

not just students... there are more and more former students too
