Don't know how I'd feel about this if I was a Texans fan. He's old and has had health problems, but this pretty much firms up that the Texans aren't thinking Running back in this year's draft.

good strategy: (last year's round table) "you know what would end all of our problems?"
"Reggie!?!"
"No, no, too much potential"
"Oh, I know, Vince!!!"
"Nope, wrong again...let's leave our chitty Oline like it is, pass up Vince, pass up Bush, so that next year we'll land Ahman Green!"
"Brilliant!"
"BRILLIANT!!!"

I'm glad we got Ahman, I'd like to go watch him play.

question is, can you find a stadium full of people that want to watch the old hag tote the rock behind one of the worst Olines in the NFL, too?

Domanick Davis(Williams) is good when healthy. Wali Lundy and Ron Dayne also have potential. Getting Green for the next couple of years will get us by at the RB position.

This, along with Plummer retiring, may shape into the Texans landing Brady Quinn somehow.

I would agree with you but this is the Texans we're talking about. Who passed on Reggie Bush and a Public Relations wet dream in Vince Young. Don't worry they'll find a way to screw up this draft too.

I'm not sold on Quinn. I think adding Green with the combo of RB's that they already have was a decent move. Although, they paid him too much $$$. They should keep Carr as the starter and load up on OL and DB's this draft.

Quinn tends to not perform in big games. Although luckily for him if the Texans draft him, there never will be any big games

I think Davis/Williams will never play another down for the Texans. And I really hope the Texans don't take Quinn.

gotta agree...i think next year's draft will be exceptional for QB talent, loading up on OL, replacing Moulds, or finding a dominating safety could do the Texans some good

Not a Texans fan. Green is MUCH better than any other RB on the roster. He will do for a couple of years. He keeps himself in great shape.

I am assuming that the Texans think there won't be a good RB to take in the first round. AP and Marshaun Lynch will already be gone.
