Should major colleges play football games on Friday nights?

A Division I-A (old name) school recently announced that they will play a game next season on Friday night?

:rep: :rep: :rep: to the member who names the two schools, the date, the time, the location and the network that will televise it.

You are certainly correct.

This time the schools sought and received the blessing of the state's high schools before agreeing to move their game for TV.

NO....I think its busch! The NFL has agreed to not compete with college football, so, in turn, college football should agree not to compete with high school football!

Hell, why not make the colleges draft high schoolers and pay the high schools for developing their talent. :mad:

I don't feel like researching who it was, but didn't Toledo play a Friday night game last year? I think I recall hearing it on the radio while driving home and they were commenting how everybody was at the high school games instead....

It is two teams in the southwest. Each school has had a football player elected to the U.S. Congress. One played in the NFL.

One of the former congressman is black.

Largent was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1997. He graduated from my high school, Putnam City High School. He was too small for OU or OSU. Its too bad schools cannot measure a player's heart.
