For those, like me, who live out of state or have been away from the motherland that is the Lonestar State for an extended period of time, what did you miss? Don't laugh, but you start to miss the simplest things....
1. Friendly people, can't say this enough
2. Decent priced and decent selection of produce in your grocery store
3. Sonic, I crave the extra long cheese coney's and the cherry limeade
4. Whataburger, with cheese, damn wish I could have one know
5. Good mexican food, place in downtown Bryan called Casa Rodriguez, they make the best enchiladas and have the best hot sauce in town, just ask for the Memo Special
6. Luby's cafeteria and their macaroni and cheese
7. Chicken Fried Steak, from the Lonestar Tavern or from a place in Snook, can't think of the name right now
8. Good BBQ, CJ's heading out towards Huntsville.
9. Dallas Cowboy and Houston Texan games
10. Beautiful TX women, although I do have Mrs. MarylandAG
12 Burger from Chicken Oil and the cheese fries
13. Big Red Soda pop, never though I'd miss it this much
14. Most important, family
15. Freakin Walmart Supercenter, none in MD closest is PA or WV.
Anyway I'd better stop b/c I could go on and on. Anybody else?
