After thinking next year through, I don't think we'll be in that bad a shape.
---------------------

Antanas Kavaliauskas - Center/Forward
Incoming(Bolds = Early playtime)
DeAndre Jordan - Center
Victor Dubovitskiy - Forward

Derrek Lewis - Gaurd
Nathan Walkup - Forward
---------------------
Starting roster (Current):
Joseph Jones - F
Antanas Kavaliauskas - F
Josh Carter - SG
Dominique Kirk - SG
Acie Law - PG
Starting roster (Next year - Predicted):
Joseph Jones - F
DeAndre Jordan/Bryan Davis - F/C
Josh Carter - SG
Dominique Kirk - SG
Donald Sloan - PG
---------------------
As you can see, We lose Acie Law and AK which are two solid starters. Acie is the best PG in the NCAA. BUT, if you've watched the recent games, Donald Sloan is taking quite a big role in contributing to our games. He's averaging 13 minutes a game, but almost 6 points. Tonight, if you saw him play, he played more than that and played a huge role in the success we had against OKSt. I believe Sloan will step in next year and play better than Acie did in his earlier years and build himself up to be either just as good, or better than Acie is now. Carter has a very bright future as he is now driving the lane and being the second best 3pt shot in the country. Kirk is possibly the best defender in the nation and is a very good shot beyond the arch also. Jones will be a vital part of the team next year because of his experience and leadership. If he can stay out of foul troubles, expect him to be a HUGE part of our offence and defence. Incoming DeAndre Jordan is a top 10 recruit in the nation. He should be able to come in and contribute right away from the bench, if not start. If he does come off the bench, expect Bryan Davis to start. Davis has shown flashes of being a force under the hoop. He's been slowly worked into playing late in games.
Then there is BG. BG is the man for College Station. He's turned this program around in 2 years and I doubt a fall anytime soon. Acie will be missed, along with AK, but we've got young, athletic, superstars in the waiting. So after this season is over, hopefully with a national championship, don't be too worried about next year. We'll be all good. ;)
