Hills is gone to the sips
Dean is an Aggie
Johnson is a sooner
Whats left?
Gray
Calhoun
D. Thomas (from S.A)
McGuffie
Now... gray and calhoun have been believed to be aggie/t.u leans. But with Mark Brown giving Calhoun the red light that makes the Gray situation interesting. He has 2 teamates that are already committed to Texas A&M. Also, due to teh fact that Dean is an aggie and Hills being a future sip, does Gray pull the trigger soon? I think so... Same goes for Calhoun, where does he land? OU has a nice back, as do the other two big schools..
Also Ive heard numerous rumors that McGuffie is big on A&M. But I also heard from a VERY good source that though he likes A&M, we're not talking enough RB talk with him, and hes adamant about running the rock. McGuffie may very well end up a tceh tard or going to Michigan

Can you believe we are talking about who is left at RB for us a year out from signing day. Man, recruiting has done a 180 in the last decade, hasn't it?

yeah it is crazy. They talked about this last week on ESPN radio (local guys) In basketball they get verbals from kids before they play one HS basketball game. Its far easier to evaluate talent in basketball. But football is well on its way too. We have over half of our class and they're JRs waiting for spring break! CRAZY! We have one already for 09 and more or less another (russell the QB) Its a dog eats dog world.
They tried to say that Fran was "desperate" on this sip ESPN radio station when the 09 commit was mentioned. Funny thing is Mark Brown will be doing the same thing in the next couple of years. He'll have too if he wants to get any REAL talent.
I kinda like it. You will see less and less decommits I think. Due to the fact that all the good schools will be loaded up and the only way you would want to decommit is if another school you liked had a decommit (an open spot) I guess what Im saying is. We load up at RB as does OU and t.u How can a REALLY good RB decommit from A&M if other big time schools are loaded at RB for that particular class?

I think McGuffie would be fun to watch, but if we only get one more out of the 3 we have offered give me Gray.

Id have to say along with Dean give McGuffie. He would really open up the play books with his style of play.
We already have quickness, power we just lack the "Bush" type of back. We could put him as a "loan back" with 4 wide and have him go out and catch a 3 yard pass to run down field another 15 yards.
This is a really good crop of guys, so you cant go wrong with any of them really. Id take McGuffie though...

Texas A&M is not what I thought it would be. It's way better than I initially thought.

There's no way he goes to them. If we don't get him, I expect to see him in the Big 10.
