Britney Spears checked into a rehab facility and then abruptly checked out, a source confirms to PEOPLE. And then on Friday, she returned to Southern California – and she shaved her head completely bald.

When the tattoo was done, police cleared the way for Spears, who was wearing a hood, to get into her waiting sport utility vehicle.
"She looks like she's having an issue right now," Derrik Snell told the station.
Emily Wynne Hughes, who works at the tattoo parlor, said Spears appeared "distraught and disturbed.
"She was very scatterbrained," she said.
Hughes said that when someone asked the singer and mother of two why her head was shaved, Spears replied: "I don't want anyone touching me. I'm tired of everybody touching me."
Hughes said Spears was a difficult subject for the tattoo artist to work with.
"She was screaming and flipping out from the pain and wiggling her body all around," Hughes said.

don't start throwing stones at me dude. i wasn't defending Army, i was asking a question. his original comment said nothing about having sex with 16 yr old girls. the 2 comments he made on that 1 post were separated by a period, i think, and obviously 2 separate thoughts. i doubt very seriously that he needs to explain his comment simply because you misinterpreted it. it seemed fairly clear what he was saying to me.

Interesting turn this thread took.

The reality is that the age of consent in this country is what it is because a particular legislature in a particular state says it is what it is and not because there's any right age. In some states it's 17. I think in others it is younger.

A number of younger hollywood stars routinely have "countdown to consent" clocks run.

I think actually, older people tend to look on the age of consent thing as less meaningful because people grew up faster way back when. Also interesting, I've noticed in movies and television (I'm thinking of episodes of MASH and Annie Hall) the actors spoke freely and without any kind of stigma about sex with girls as young as 16.

I certainly don't condone it, but I find it fascinating and completely undeniable that society's views on this have changed quite a bit the last 15-20 years or so.

I'll tell you now, WL--when your daughter is 18-19 you're not going to feel any better about guys looking at her. You're always going to be her dad and there's not going to be some magical age (at least not at that stage of her life) where you're going to feel differently about this sort of thing.
