Heard casinos in oklahoma can't serve alcohol...don't know if this is a myth or not...but my plan was to go to the casino for my birthday. Don't wanna drive all the way to Louisiana...that's just too dadgum far! Let me know if any of yall have been to a casino in the wasteland to the north or have any other suggestions for the big day

LA is 100% better than OK as far as casinos are concerned.

I would drive to LA to go to Harrahs before I would go anywhere in OK.

If you live in Abilene, just go to Ruidoso. The casino just on the dirty side of the river sucks. I'm from Breckenridge, and we used to go to Ruidoso all the time. Either there or just take off going east on I-20 and end up in Shreveport. Don't go to OK.
