I could take a laptop, but I learn way better from writing things down so I just use pencil and paper. Oh and I really don't pay attention if I have a laptop with me. Damn you Freecell:mad:

...but it seems pretty practical. If you're going to take notes...& then go back & study on your laptop...why not put your notes on your laptop?

I would think the typing would get annoying though. I know there are "quiet keyboards", but you can still hear them...

i've never been bothered by typing sounds... if i had a laptop i would definitely take it to class... i'm tired of having a 1" binder for every class

I could see taking notes in history class etc.
