Player who deserves improper benefits: Nebraska coach Doc Sadler instructed his players to shadow Josh Carter down the stretch of Saturday's game against Texas A&M, and it worked. Carter was held to no points in the final 12 minutes. In the first 28 minutes, though, he had 26 points on eight 3-pointers, which isn't bad for a guy who entered averaging just 12.2 points per game. "How in the heck do you let Josh Carter get eight 3's?" Sadler asked after taking a 66-55 loss. "That's ridiculous."
Player who should lose his scholarship: Whoever was guarding Josh Carter the first 28 minutes.
