according to rivals...sam mcguffie(jr RB from cy fair), who also has already been offered by a&m, just got a personal phone call from charlie weis, accompanied by an offer from the irish. he also just received offers from michigan & ou. word is he is still being courted by usc, tOSU & the gators:wow:


I know there are bigger fish in the water for 08 as far as RB's go, but apparently Sam's getting more national recruiting attention. would hate to see this kid get away...his highlight reel is SICK!

I think his leap over that other kid is being blown out of proportion. It was a great play, but not that great. What impressed me most when I saw that video was the guy on TV saying that McGuffie went on to have SEVEN TDs that night.

Loftin gets excited because he hears lots of TDs & he thinks of his mancrush.
Bottom line is, Sammie Mac is the real deal & I hope we get him. But if I had to bet, we don't. Of course, I've been wrong about a few recruits lately, so maybe thats a good thing for us.
