Beaumont Central's Derrick Hall (http://tamu.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=51338) can do it all.
He started all season at safety for the Jaguars and split time at receiver and running back on offense.
However, no matter where he was, his impact on Central's fortunes was unmistakeable.
During the season, Hall rushed 50 times for 513 yards and four touchdowns and caught 19 passes for 334 yards and six more touchdowns.
Central missed the dynamic Hall in the playoffs after he broke his leg and ankle in a first round win over Barbers Hill. Even then, he had an 84-yard touchdown run before the injury.
And there's no doubt where Hall wants to spent his college years.
"I'm trying to get to A&M," said the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Hall. "I like the fans. I have never really been to a college game until I went to the A&M-Oklahoma game last fall. The fans are awesome. It's not far from home. I know people like Billy Chavis (http://tamu.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=42272) (2007 commit to A&M) and Dravannti Johnson (http://tamu.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=54925) (2008 commit from Nederland). Brandon (Williams, 2007 commit from Central) is going there."
Hall is scheduled to attend A&M's Junior Day this upcoming Saturday and there's no doubt what he'll do if the Aggies offer.
"I'm going to take it hands down," Hall said. "That's what I'm waiting on."
