I think that is good for us since he is planning on announcing on Houston TV. If it was going to be OSU or even USC, I think he would have kept his announcement on FSN so they could see it. With so many Ags in H-town, I think we are the favorite.

Good, cause when it comes down to A&M and OU, OU ends up getting most of them(Like 3 CB's last spring, Adrian Peterson the year before, etc.)

Him being in town yesterday really doesn't mean that much. That unofficial was scheduled for a long time before he was set to announce on Sunday. Obviously, it would've been bad if he hadn't shown up, but it doesn't mean that he is more likely to commit to us since he was in town yesterday.

I agree whole-heartedly with Dustin. It seems from what i can gather, his dad wants him to stay in state, but he won't make him do it. This could be a trip just to appease dad.

This thread brings up a good question though. What are the policies on sharing premium information? I subscribe to a few recruiting websites, but I'm not going to post on here scoop that I pay for somewhere else. I don't think its right to the people who do the leg work. Why would you give them your business if you can get it for free from me or somewhere else. How is the site going to handle this?

If you quote a premium article, then I'll remove it. If I can't tell if it's a premium article, (like it's not quoted, the source isn't listed, or it's mixed in with a regular post) it's going to stay.

Thats cool. Back on the Goodson deal, I think he had his mind made up before he came to town yesterday. And I don't think that the Houston TV station has anything to do with, either. He is from Houston & FSN isn't going to hold a special for a recruit to announce this far before signing day. All that being said, I still think we get him & if so, it would be huge. That would give us a Reggie/'Tellus type recruit with plenty of time left before signing day to build on that momentum. I think if we get Goodson on Sunday, we end up stealing a couple of highly ranked recruits currently committed to other schools....at least one being from the sips.

He was going to do it at Pfugervile said, but changed his mind, for several reasons. Now its Channel 2 Houston on Sports Sunday, on Sunday (well duh). 10:20PM is start time for the show, but i could be wrong about that.

Edit i had 6PM but that was a different show.
