hmmm...as a mod, I'm thinking this thread needs to be locked. All it is doing is asking everybody to abuse the rep system. you're supposed to get good rep for being a good poster...not a good beggar (*cough* POLISH *cough*) :D

I found the answer to your question. I had assumed the forum would add another bar when you received the next reputation level. However, I've since learned that it's hardcoded to give an extra bar for every 100 points you receive. If you mouse over your bar, it has the new saying "is on a distinguished road". For every 1000 posts your power in giving rep increases one (Texag is at 3, I'm at 2). It shouldn't take long to get to 100 as the board increases. I don't want to make the value smaller because then that means eventually, you could have anywere close to 100 bars for 5000 positive posts (if they were awarded for every 50 points)
