If you change default4 to default2, you can start to see the color scheme they use now coming out...

That is interesting stuff.... Although for some reason I don't remember any of that even though the timeframe sounds about right since Texags has been around for about seven years now. And I have been there from the beginning. I am probably one of the first 100 or 200 posters.
Anyway, Maybe alot of you know, or don't, but all these boards first came because the only place to talk about College Sports in the beginning was http://www.austin360.com. Although the boards there were too much weighted towards UT (of course) and it was pretty hard to trudge through. Think Aggieresistance if they actually talked about sports.
So in came Texags. And the originator's name was Peter. His name on texags believe it or not was Aggiefan. And Texags was on it's own for almost a year when hornfans.com was created almost as a retaliation.
Not to give a history lesson. But that is that. Anyway, when Texags started out it was a really fun site. Maybe about 300-500 people talking about football. Then it got so big it crashed two years later and everything was wiped out. You had to re-register so whatever my date it says on Texags I have been on even two years before that.
And the the masses came and the slow downfall to suckage. I think when Peter said he wasen't posting anymore was the end of the First generation of Texags.

Their biggest problem has been they are using their own software to do the forums.... instead of using a proven package like vbulletin or fusetalk. Ultimately thats why I came here. (although I do with the pm's were increased to 100 or so)

It's possible through donations. ;) Just kidding...
I know you use the PM feature a lot with me right now, so I'll see if I can't help you out...
