Arkansas WR Damian Williams is transferring to USC.

Looks like Carroll is expecting someone to leave early...;)

I work with a guy whose wife's cousin is the offensive coordinator at Arkantucky. Players are leaving in droves because they don't like the direction that coach Nutt is going. The admin only gave him a one year extension.

That is a crazy transfer if its' true. Arkansas has a shot to make a run next year.

It's the SC jaggernaut. Damn them!

I can't believe these freshmen hotshots think they are smarter than the coach. When your RB was the Heisman runner-up, you aren't going to air it out.

It's funny because USC's offense likes to run the ball more than they throw it, just so happens when teams stop the run they have 3 badass WRs waiting to catch the ball but USC is not a throwing team.

That is not true at all. As a team, they passed for over 3400 yards this year (compared to 1600 yards rushing). That seems like a pass first offense to me.

I think he just figured that Dick or Mustain or whoever only sees one person when they drop back...Monk

Because most teams stoped the run this year due to the fact Bush/White were gone. Carrol's offense is use the run to set up the pass. Urban Meyer uses the pass to set up the run. Go back and see how many times they tired to run the ball all year. Cost them UCLA and OSU game. If they wouldn't of started throwing in the bowl game aganist Michigan it could of cost them. It just so happens they have Jarrett and Smith. Now come next year will see how they fair with out these guys when teams stop the run.

I think a better stat to look up for this argument would be rush attempts vs pass attempts instead of yards...

If possible attempst in the 1st half....

447 passing attempts vs. 416 rushing attempts.
